The novelty will compete with models such as the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf and fill the gap between traditional hatchbacks and SUVs. Citroën CEO Vincent Kobe recently said that the introduction of the model was “huge” for Citroën’s growth in Europe.

Full details on the performance of the gasoline and diesel engines that will be offered on the C4 are likely to come later. There is also no word yet on whether the model will be offered in a hybrid or plug-in hybrid version.
