New car sales down 61% in GermanyMay 9, 2020
According to the German Federal Transport Agency, in the country last month, only 120,840 new cars were sold.
Note that a year ago indicator was 61% higher compared to the new result. For the period January-April of the current year, the decrease in sales in the German car market amounted to 29%. Experts attribute this to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
