New BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe to debut soonNovember 27, 2020
The Bavarian company announced the imminent premiere of its new product.
The refreshed BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe, which was first introduced in 2014, is set to hit the market next year. The head of the design company Christopher Weil said during an interview that the official presentation should take place “very soon” and called the graceful new product “amazing”.
The design of the new generation of the model will be carried out in the already familiar stylistic direction. In addition, the prototypes of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe have repeatedly come across to photo spies, and in particular, the coupe will receive a controversial radiator grille.
Weil said the 4-Series Gran Coupe attracts a different customer base from the 3-Series sedan, noting that generally young people choose the coupe. He also noted that the future model will avoid using a hybrid powertrain, at least initially.
For those looking for an electrified option, the zero emissions i4 will be the best option and is expected to outperform the M3 / M4 in terms of power. As far as we know, the traditional-engined M4 Gran Coupe is not on the agenda.
