New Audi S6 Avant TDI made even more powerful thanks to tuners from ABTNovember 7, 2019
Even the diesel version of the premium station wagon has become even more powerful. The tuners tried not only to increase the power, but also add the style of the updated version.
At the beginning of 2019, the company from Ingolstadt surprised all fans by presenting an updated version of the wagon Audi S6 Avant 2020 model year. But what was surprising was not the update itself, but the solutions used. Instead of the usual 4.0-liter V8 petrol turbo engine, a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel was installed.
In addition, the company used not just a diesel engine, but supplied it with a hybrid 48-volt system. The total capacity of the installation is 345 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Nevertheless, the tuners from the ABT studio decided to accept the challenge and see if they could further boost the engine. After refinement, the diesel is capable of developing up to 378 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque.
Acceleration to “hundreds” now takes only 4.9 seconds. The maximum speed is not reported, but we are sure that it is limited by electronics at around 250 or 280 km / h.
In addition to finalizing the turbodiesel, ABT worked on the appearance of the car. Now it is equipped with branded 21-inch alloy wheels, which helps to add a few horsepower output. For an additional fee, you can buy new bumpers, aerodynamic body kit and other “little things” to change the design.
