New Alpina XB7 noticed during tests at the NurburgringOctober 27, 2019
Apparently BMW will refrain from the X7 M, so we should expect the Alpina’s XB7. We offer a look at the new spy shots from the tests at the Nurburgring.
It is reported that the novelty should debut next year. A customized version of the flagship of the German concern was seen on tests of the legendary Nurburgring track. This time there was relatively little camouflage on it, but they tried hard to hide the design of the bumpers and doors from everyone. Alpina XB7 will differ from the serial models typical for this company 17-inch wheels and large brakes.
The cabin also expects serious changes that are likely to start with the armrests. They will welcome passengers to light up when you open the doors. Also, the visual effect is reinforced by leather upholstery options, a sports steering wheel, contrast stitching and, quite possibly, an assortment of new finishes.
Under the hood of the novelty is a 4.4-liter engine Twin-Turbo V8 from BMW. In the B7, it produces an impressive 608 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Paired with the engine is an eight-speed automatic gearbox, as well as an all-wheel drive xDrive system. From 0 to 100 km / h, the SUV accelerates in about 4 seconds.
It is expected that the maximum speed will be increased to 250 km / h with the removal of the electronic limiter.
