New Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm spotted in testsOctober 5, 2020
Photospies spotted a prototype model near the FCA Balocco test site in Italy.
Alfa Romeo has taken the Giulia GTAm sedan to road tests, which was spotted during tests in the rain on the track. The model was spotted near the FCA Balocco training ground in Italy. The body of the model is completely covered with camouflage film.
The design of the model looks very aggressive, including due to the huge rear wing and massive diffuser. Despite the presence of a camouflage film, the novelty can be examined in sufficient detail. For example, the large air intakes, the fender flares and the centrally located exhaust system are easy to see.
Many elements are made of carbon fiber to keep weight down. The new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm weighs just 1,520 kg and takes about 3.6 seconds to sprint to the grid.
The model is powered by a 2.9-liter V6 with two turbines producing 533 horsepower. Through the rear window in the photos, you can see the roll cage, which is installed in place of the rear seats, where there is only space left to store two helmets and a fire extinguisher.
Despite its impressive looks and high performance, there are problems – price and availability. The price of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm in Italy is approximately $ 200,000. A total of 500 copies of the model will be released, including GTA.
