New 2021 BMW M3 and M4 due to debut September 23August 19, 2020
The sports division of the Bavarian company BMW M behind closed doors began demonstrating the new generation of the new M3 Sedan and new M4 Coupe.
The official premiere of the two working models will take place in September, as the company has already announced, and it looks like they will be shown on the 23rd. Citing one of its readers who personally saw the new M3, BMWBlog reports that it will launch in Man Green.
The palette will also include Toronto Red, Tanzanite Blue, Portimao Blue, Dravit Gray, Black Sapphire, Alpine White, and Sao Paolo Yellow. The latter will most likely grace the M4 Coupe’s body at launch.
The report says that the unveiled newest car BMW M3 was in the more powerful Competition specification, adorned with carbon fiber, and a blacked-out grille, allegedly requested by the firm’s US dealers. It also featured optional laser headlights and an inset carbon fiber roof pillar.
Sporting a sporty look with large bumpers and side skirts, a different grille pattern, four tailpipes, tiny boot lid spoilers and M-style wheels, the new M3 and M4 will be powered by a 3.0-liter turbo engine producing 473 hp.
The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, while an eight-speed automatic transmission will likely be offered as an option. Rear-wheel drive.
503 hp Competition model (510 hp / 375 kW) will join the model range with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Meanwhile, an all-wheel drive xDrive variant will arrive later.
