New 2018-2019 Skoda Kamiq GT coupe cross lost his camouflageOctober 30, 2019
The public premiere of the new crossover Skoda Kamiq GT for China is due to take place in early November. However, preserving the intrigue before the premiere did not work: a photo of a serial coupe-crossover leaked to the Network.
The Chinese edition of AutoHome has declassified the exterior of the new production Skoda Kamiq GT by posting pictures of a coupe-like crossover without any camouflage. The debut of the novelty intended for the “celestial” car market will be organized on November 4. However, fans of the brand had the opportunity to see the Kamiq GT before the official premiere. Recall that the Czechs have two different SUVs under the name Kamiq: the first was offered to Europeans, the second is oriented to China. The European crossover is based on the MQB modular platform, and the Chinese Kamiq is built on the PQ25 chassis from the current Rapid.
The length of the Skoda Kamiq GT reaches 4,409 mm, and its width and height are 1,781 mm and 1,606 mm, respectively. With these parameters, the cross for China is slightly higher and longer than the standard Kamiq, but the wheelbase here is unchanged – 2,610 mm.
According to preliminary information, the Skoda Kamiq GT will receive a one and a half liter 110-horsepower “aspirated”. Experts also expect to see a 1.2-liter 116-horsepower turbo engine under the hood. Both motors will receive a seven-speed “robot” as partners.
