NASCAR: Jacques Villeneuve will return to the full schedule of racesDecember 17, 2018
A Canadian will take part in the NASCAR Euro Series as part of the Go Fas Racing team, reports the publication Motosport-Total.
Last week, the 47-year-old Villeneuve drove a Ford Mustang stock car with a V8 engine with returns of over 400 hp on tests. The races were held on the Franciacorta circuit in Italy. According to their results, the team entered into an agreement with the driver.
“For me it is of great importance to return to the full schedule of the championship. I want to be fully involved in the project and have a clear goal for the season, ”the sports publication quoted Villeneuve.
Note that the champion of Formula 1 in 1997 from 2005 did not hold a single full schedule for the season. In 2006, he left the Royal races and, up to the current year, performed in various racing competitions (NASCAR, V8 Supercars, rallycross, Formula E), but none of them went through without a pass.
The next season of NASCAR Euro Series starts in Valencia on April 13, 2019 and apart from Valencia itself, it will take place on the following routes: Franciacorta, Most (Czech Republic), Brands Hatch (United Kingdom), Zolder (Belgium), Hockenheim (Germany) and Venray (Holland).
