According to the majority of respondents, the person behind the wheel of a BMW looks the most attractive to others. In this respect, the classic German brand even leaves the luxury sports cars of Porsche behind. Although the gap is small. Men rated both brands equally highly, but women prefer BMWs.
In turn, the American brand Jeep, on the contrary, was supported by more women than men (13.7% versus 9%). The owners of cars of the Italian company Fiat attract the least attention to themselves (2.2%).
Speaking of the “prestige” category, here the German brand Mercedes-Benz (68.5%) managed to outperform such brands as BMW and Porsche. It is this brand that two-thirds of Germans consider the main status symbol, which testifies to the professional and personal success of the owner. Mercedes-Benz, in particular, got the first line in the safety category (47.8%). In last place in the safety rating is Smart (1.8%). But in the environmental friendliness category, this brand occupies the second line, behind only the Japanese Toyota brand (17.3%).
In addition, it was recently noted that analysts of the Brand Intimacy Study agency summed up the results of their large-scale research, which lasted for 10 years. As a result, it turned out that Ford cars are the most popular among Americans.
