Named the price of the new “rally” Skoda Scala and Kamiq Monte CarloJanuary 30, 2020
These two Czech models have acquired an original appearance and new equipment, which previously could not be found in other versions.
Skoda decided to update the Monte Carlo line of versions, which previously included only the Fabia model. Now sports touches and new options are available for Kamiq and Scala. In a new design performance, these cars debuted in 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. From the usual Scala and Kamiq, their versions of Monte Carlo can be distinguished by spectacular sporting touches: black inserts in the exterior (radiator grille with black trim, diffuser in the same shade, contrasting exterior mirrors, black roof rails for Kamiq, etc.), special nameplates, contrast trim and more.
Stylish and comfortable sports seats, a sports steering wheel and pedals with aluminum plates appeared in the car interior. Add to this a bright LED backlight, a grown-up multimedia screen, a digital dashboard, etc.
But in technical terms, there were no changes. Both cars in the Monte Carlo modification are equipped with one of two gasoline turbo engines: a 113-liter liter or a liter and a half, issuing 148 horsepower. Deliveries of blackened “rally” new products are planned for the spring of 2020.
For Skoda Scala Monte Carlo fans of the Czech brand will have to pay from 22 455 pounds, Kamiq in the new version costs from 23 080 pounds. Recall that the special version taught its name in honor of the Monte Carlo rally, which Skoda has become a constant participant in since 1912.
