Named the cost of hybrid Renault Megane E-TechAugust 25, 2020
After the update, the number of vehicle trim levels was reduced to three. The most interesting is the hybrid version of the E-Tech.
On Tuesday, August 25, the prices for the updated Renault Megane were announced. The basic configuration of Iconic is estimated at 18,995 pounds. Already in this version, the car has the ability to synchronize with a smartphone, has a fully digital dashboard and LED headlights, and is also equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. In a more advanced modification of Iconic, the developers added satellite navigation, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a set of electronic driver assistants.
The sporty version of the RS-Line gets some exterior changes as well as a 9.3-inch infotainment system. However, the main innovation was the appearance of a plug-in hybrid version called E-Tech. For such a car you will have to pay 30,685 pounds. The power plant for this version passed from the Clio and Captur models – it is based on a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which is complemented by two electric motors. We also note a new transmission – according to Renault representatives, gear changes in it occur without a drawdown in rpm.
The total power of such an engine reaches 158 hp, and the power reserve on one electricity is 50 km.
It takes just 9.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h, and the top speed is limited to 135 km / h. Deliveries of such a modification to dealers will begin in November this year.
Meanwhile, renderings of a special version of the budget crossover Renault Triber have appeared on the Web. The car is designed for travel and received equipment for driving on extreme off-road.
