Named date of the premiere of the new Range Rover EvoqueNovember 14, 2018
The design of the crossover will get the features of Velar and the changes that were previously tested on the updated Range Rover and Range Rover Sport
Land Rover will present the second-generation Range Rover Evoque second generation November 22 at a special event in London. Also, the English brand has published the first teaser images of the novelty. They show the design of the future model with the help of special sculptures from wire.
The design of the crossover will get the features of Velar and the changes that were previously tested on the updated Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. Most likely, the second generation crossover will not be produced in the three-door version. Thus, Land Rover will produce a model only in versions with a five-door body and a convertible. However, there is no official confirmation of this information.
The car will be built on an updated version of the D8 architecture. According to Motor1, the new Evoque will be equipped with a front-wheel drive system, an all-wheel drive version will also be available as an option. Clients will also be offered a hybrid version of the machine. The structure of the power plant of the crossover will enter the new 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol turbo engine. The new unit will be paired with an electric motor. The composition of the power plant will also include a 48-volt electrical architecture.
The prototype of the future crossover has repeatedly been seen during the test tests. Judging by the photographs of photo spies, the novelty will grow slightly in size, which will affect the internal space of the machine. Also, the machine will receive a retractable door handle in the style of Velar. Inside, new items will install a digital dashboard.
