Motorsport Network Introduces New CEOFebruary 18, 2020
Motorsport Network is pleased to announce the appointment of Mehul Kapadia to the post of Executive Director. In this position, the top manager will help to integrate and reveal the network effect of the company’s business related to racing and civil cars, selling tickets for motorsport events, e-sports and games. He will work at the London Motorsport office.
Over the past eight years, Mehul Kapadia has played a leading role in the digital transformation of Formula 1 and MotoGP as Tata Communications Senior Vice President and Global Marketing Director. Mehul worked in a telecommunications company for 19 years. In 2012, he became Tata’s managing director for F1 and built a multi-million dollar business, including the teams Mercedes-AMG Petronas, Williams and several television companies, including SKY Sports F1 and Ziggo. This not only provided impressive revenue, but also increased Tata Communications brand recognition internationally.
Mehul has proven leadership in operational and strategic roles in technology, media, product management, sales and marketing. This makes him an ideal candidate who can implement the Motorsport Network development program based on creating an ecosystem of client services for a huge global network audience.
