Motorhome owners donate their vehicles to fight against coronavirusApril 3, 2020
On March 24, a public group called RVs 4 MDs To Fight Corna Virus was created on Facebook. Its essence is that posts are taped into the tape, in which the owners of motor homes, SUVs and even small campers offer their vehicles to medical workers to combat coronavirus.
Difficult times have now come for absolutely everyone, and we are not just talking about staying isolated to help slow the spread of Coronavirus. For those of us who work from home, it’s easy, despite the fact that from time to time we complain that we don’t see enough sun, spend too much time in four walls, or see too many members of our family.
There are other people who are forced to work despite universal quarantine. There are thousands of these people, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.
We are talking about those who provide first aid to those who have already become ill with coronavirus (COVID-19), and are putting their health at risk right now. It was precisely these people that a small but growing group of motorhome owners in the USA decided to help.
On March 24, to combat the coronavirus pandemic, a public group was created in the social network Facebook called “RVs 4 MDs”. As of April 2, the group already has about 12,000 members. Posts are published in the community literally from all over the United States – caring people are ready to sacrifice literally everything from trailers to large SUVs to fight the spread of the infection, and in some cases, these cars are offered for use where they are actually located.
At the time of publication of this article, the most recent post was about a fully furnished one-bedroom mobile apartment and everything you need to exist. It is reported that the caravan is already fully charged and is ready to set off “to fight the coronavirus.” It’s amazing, just amazing, what solidarity people in need are capable of!
