We already wrote that Aston Martin resumes production of DB5 after a 55-year hiatus. Now it became known that the conveyor left the first copy of the revived sports car.

The cult classic Aston Martin DB5 model is “restarting” as part of the Goldfinger Continuation project. The British brand plans to release 25 grand tourers from the Job 1 DB5 Goldfinger collection collection – all of them will copy the most famous car from the “Bond”.

The first client sports car from this special series was released last week. The production of such piece sports cars was entrusted to the Aston Martin factory in Newport Pagnell.

Each spotcar from the limited edition will receive a whole set of spy gadgets. They, of course, fake, but this does not prevent them from looking quite real. Which is not surprising, since the coordinator of the special effects of “Bondiana” Chris Corbould worked on such original equipment.

This, for example, smoke cannon, rotating license plates, radar, a phone in the driver’s door and much more. All cars will be painted in the only shade available for this special series – Silver Birch. This is a kind of tribute to the original sports car.

The sports car is driven by a four-liter supercharged six-cylinder engine with three SU carburetors and an oil cooler. It gives out 290 “horses” and is combined in a 5MKPP and rear-wheel drive. Those lucky ones who managed to buy an exclusive DB5 will not wait for the first deliveries for long – they will start in the second half of 2020.

By the way, these cars are worth 2.75 million pounds. And all of them are already sold out.

Earlier it became known that Bugatti will release a Chiron roadster hypercar. Such a car will appear in a single copy.
