Mitsubishi will launch the assembly of the crossover Xpander at a factory in VietnamSeptember 17, 2019
This decision was made due to the growing sales of Xpander in Southeast Asia. Especially successful for the brand was the launch of model sales in Indonesia.
Mitsubishi Motors is going to establish the assembly of the Xpander cross-country in Vietnam at the production facilities of the MMC branch. In the meantime, this model is off the assembly line in Indonesia. The first Vietnamese cars will appear next year. With the help of localization of production, the manufacturer will be able to make the prices on the Mitsubishi Xpander more attractive. In such cases, the model will become even more popular, outshining its direct competitors in the local market. Recall that the acquaintance of Mitsubishi fans with the Xpander cross-country took place two years ago. Then the brand presented a seven-seater model with three rows of seats arranged in a 2/3/2 pattern.
Xpander is driven by a one and a half liter 104-horsepower gasoline engine, combined with a five-speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. But the drive is a non-alternative front.
In general, the Mitsubishi Xpander was created for the emerging markets of Southeast Asia, where it is in high demand. So, Indonesian motorists who regret to purchase this model will have to pay at least 189 million rupees
Meanwhile, the premiere date of the new Nissan X-Trail and Mitsubishi Outlander was revealed. According to Japanese media, both SUVs will appear in the fall of 2020.
