Mitsubishi showed the first teaser of the updated Mirage and AttrageNovember 7, 2019
After restyling, the small hatchback and sedan will receive a spectacular X-shaped design. Earlier, spy photos of the updated Mirage leaked to the Network, but now a noticeably prettier sedan appeared on the teaser.
Mitsubishi showed a teaser of its future car innovations: the image reveals the appearance of two restyled twin models – the compact Mirage hatchback and the Attrage sedan. The brand promises to present both new products on November 18 in Thailand. Pre-reform models go off the assembly line of the Thai plant in Laem Chabang, and the updated Mirage and Attrage will join them. Judging by the teaser, the new items received an X-shaped front design in the spirit of the new Mitsubishi corporate identity called Dynamic Shield.
So, the sedan and the hatchback receive new bumpers, upgraded headlights, a modified grille, as well as decorative lining made of X-shaped chrome. Whether the restyling has affected the length of the models is not yet reported. The current Mirage reaches a length of 3,795 mm, and Attrage – 4,305 mm. But the wheelbase of the models is the same – 2 550 mm. The car interior has not yet hit the camera lenses. According to experts, the maximum that the automaker will offer customers is new finishing materials and advanced multimedia.
On the technical side, change is also not expected. Most likely, the updated Mirage and Attrage will receive an existing 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol aspirated with a capacity of 78 hp, combined with a 5MKPP or CVT. The drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.
Recall that in some regional wounds, including the European one, the Attrage sedan is known as SpaceStar, and Mirage in some countries changes its name to Mirage G4. We do not sell these models. The model range for Russia includes crossovers ASX, Outlander and Pajero Sport, SUV Pajero and pickup L200.
