Visitors to the motor show in Bangkok were able to see the new super-pickup from Mitsubishi – the Triton Absolute concept. Then it was announced that the debuted pickup truck is a show track created for studying public opinion. It was planned that throughout the year the Japanese brand would collect feedback on its new product. After analyzing the collected data, the brand management had to decide whether to launch the mass production of a new pickup truck or not.
The other day, the press service of Mitsubishi said that the conceptual pickup could be released in the series. The words manufacturer added images of Triton Absolute.
Right after the presentation this pick-up began to be called the main rival of the Ford Ranger Raptor. On the snapshots caught in the Network, it is clear that the new Japanese pickup is a revised version of the best-selling brand in this segment – the Mitsubishi L200 pick-up. The novelty has got off-road tires, an “increased” clearance and massive wheel arch extensions. No details about the technical characteristics of the future news has not yet been reported.
