Mitsubishi showcases Tokyo’s new Delica and Eclipse Cross air suspension versionsJanuary 10, 2020
Five conceptual models were installed at the company’s booth at once. They decided to show us that Mitsubishi can also personalize its cars, and look to the future on the design of its own cars, but it does not forget its roots.
In the framework of the detached Tokyo Automobile Salon, a demonstration of three concepts from Mitsubishi took place at once. One of them was the prototype Delica D: 5 Eye Cute, designed to change the image of cars from aggressive to kind and comfortable. In the technical part there were no features. But the design was somewhat surprised by the round head optics, retrostyle of the radiator grille, alloy wheels and checkered interior decoration.
The second novelty was the limited edition Delica D: 5 All Blacks. The model was created in honor of the New Zealand rugby team. The model is distinguished by the brand logo of the team, as well as duplication of its name on the hood and side parts. Another feature is black wheels and off-road tires.
Eclipse Cross Weekend Explorer with air suspension has become the highlight of the Mitsubishi booth in Tokyo. The model received air suspension with the ability to control from a remote control or application on a smartphone. Although the new hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander in the expeditionary kit surprised no less.
The exhibition was completed by another concept – Wild Beast Concept, built on the basis of a cross-modification of the new generation eK X key car.
