Mitsubishi released the final Pajero in GermanyApril 14, 2018
The German representative office of the brand reported the termination of sales of the flagship SUV.
In addition, the German off-road vehicle sales market will complete a specially prepared for this occasion limited edition Mitsubishi Pajero Final Edition. In total, 1,000 such cars will be produced, and in a three- and five-door body.
The three-door “final” version is built on the basis of the initial configuration of the Base, which was supplemented by 18-inch wheels, aluminum bottom protection, heated front seats, automatic braking, cruise control and other equipment. Three-door Pajero Final Edition was estimated at five thousand euros more expensive than the base version – 37 thousand euros.
The five-door version is offered on the inverse principle – it’s the most expensive one. If the standard equipment Pajero Top costs 47 000 euros, the Pajero Final with five doors will cost 49 000 euros. Final SUV is equipped with 20-inch wheels with a special design, underbody protection, darkened optics and aluminum interior trim. The cars are offered exclusively with a 190-horsepower 4M41 diesel engine with a 3.2 liter direct injection DI-D, a five-speed automatic INVECS II transmission and an Advanced Super Select II full drive system.
Note, the last copy of the three-door Mitsubishi Pajero was released in Japan on February 22. The car got off the assembly line of Pajero Manufacuring, owned by Mitsubishi Motors. In total, 252 305 such cars were produced, and the last car was transferred to the patrol police.
Five-door Mitsubishi Pajero continue to produce, and in August in China was presented an updated version of the model. True, the changes were minimal, and the key innovation was the appearance of a nine-inch touchscreen of the infotainment system.
