Mitsubishi introduced the updated L200November 9, 2018
Mitsubishi unveiled a restyled version of the L200 pickup at a special event in Bangkok (Thailand). Sales of new items in the local market will start on November 17th.
The exterior of the pickup is made in accordance with the further evolution of the corporate design of the Japanese brand – Dynamic Shield. In honesty, the front end of the car is similar to the new generation Pajero Sport SUV. Pickup got extended wheel arches, new bumpers, modified optics and many chrome parts.
Inside, installed new seats and other dashboard. The driver has access to a blind spot monitoring system, parking assistance function and a collision avoidance system. With the help of an informative screen, you can see the image of the area around the car from a bird’s eye view.
The updated L200 comes with an upgraded Super Select all-wheel drive system. Different off-road modes are available to the driver: “gravel”, “mud / snow”, “sand”, “mountainous terrain”. The off-road mode at the same time adjusts engine power, transmission and brakes to prevent slippage.
Also, the restyled model received a new six-speed automatic transmission instead of the former five-speed one. The pickup was equipped with an upgraded brake system with larger discs, as well as new shock absorbers. The company promised that thanks to these changes it was possible to significantly improve the driving characteristics of the car. The motor range of pickup has not changed.
