Mitsubishi introduced an inflatable camper for trucksApril 3, 2021
The German division of Mitsubishi, together with the guys from GentleTent, made an inflatable tourist camper called the GT Pick Up. The tent is designed for installation in the cargo platform of a Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck.
The management of the Japanese company Mitsubishi stopped creating new models in Europe. Instead, the automaker plans to sell cars created by French Renault, adapting them to suit its goals and needs. Fortunately, it looks like the automaker still has a lot to offer its customers in the Old Continent.
The German representative office of Mitsubishi, together with the company GentleTent, has developed a “smart” inflatable tent for the L200 pickup truck. The novelty is called GT Pick Up.
The camper can be inflated with an air compressor. When the camper is inflated, it has a floor length of 1,524 mm and an internal height of 2,133 mm. The awning has five ventilation windows.
The side walls of the inflatable camper can withstand gusts up to 113 km / h. Waterproof materials were used to make the tent, which weighs 27 kilograms. The part of the camper that is attached to the roof rack of the pickup truck has a height of 177.8 mm.
The inflatable camper is available exclusively in Germany. Its full-size execution will cost 3,410 euros. The smaller camper version costs € 2,338
