Mini models get self-centering disc capsSeptember 23, 2019
You must admit that it’s great when the car is driving, and the wheel rims spinning with great speed to see that the company logo in the center of this disk does not change its position. It is this additional option that the British company now offers.
Mini car manufacturer of UK urban cars, recently announced the expansion of its range of accessories for its models. Now you can order a set of self-centering caps on the rims – when the car is moving, the wheel spins, and the cap itself, on which the brand logo is applied, remains in a stationary (almost) state.
It is reported that a set of floating caps is available for both regular Mini models and for higher-performance versions from the John Cooper Works sports division.
“Using precisely positioned weights in the front of the cap and a flexible connection to the wheel hub extension, the Mini can now offer a new option that will look very impressive. Another plus is that if you wish, you can easily replace the new self-centering caps in a few simple steps, if you wish, ”the official press release says.
A new accessory for Mini cars can be purchased through authorized dealers of the automaker or through a specialized online store. There are two versions of the caps in total: the first has the regular Mini logo and the other has the John Cooper Works brand name.
In conclusion, it is worth noting that the guys from Mini are engaged in the creation of a new generation of the Countryman urban crossover – according to rumors, the production version of the car can be presented in the very near future.
