Mil-Spec Hummer H1 – or the good old diesel HummerJuly 3, 2020
Atelier Mil-Spec Automotive introduced the classic version of the Hummer H1 SUV. Under the hood of this monster is a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine.
Very soon, the legendary Hammer SUV will turn into a truck with a fully electric power plant – there will be no good old gasoline and diesel engines with huge displacement. In addition, the machine will be sold under the brand name GMC.
If you’re one of those who don’t like the upcoming Hummer EV, the Mil-Spec Automotive tuning studio has some good news for you. The guys presented a modernized version of the Hummer H1, which received a good-old diesel engine with huge torque.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first modified Hummer H1 from Mil-Spec. In 2018, the tuner released various variations of the SUV in the Humvee style.
Under the hood, the Mil-Spec Automotive H1 is a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel with a capacity of 500 horsepower (1356 Nm).
One of the Mil-Spec innovations for the Hummer H1 is the installation of a larger aluminum tank – the SUV will now be able to cover a greater distance at one gas station. The body received a sprayed polyurethane protective coating Deep Sky Black with Kevlar with semi-gloss black powder accents for a more “sinister” look.
The new Mil-Spec Hummer H1 is not cheap. For a highly modified version of the SUV, the studio set the price at $ 300,000
