MG held a pre-premiere show of its Cyberster concept.

This was reported by the press service of the manufacturer. The two-seater roadster was created by the MG Advanced Design Center in London based on the classic MGB Roadster.

At the same time, the creators emphasize that the car uses the most modern technologies, including support for the 5G communication standard. In addition, Cyberster is built on an all-electric platform. According to the manufacturer, the cruising range reaches 800 km, and a two-seater roadster will need less than 3 seconds to accelerate to the first 100 kph.

This is made possible by carefully designed aerodynamics of the body, in particular by optimizing the movement of air flows. And also thanks to the use of lightweight composite materials and alloys.

Among the interesting features of the car are the Magic Eye headlights, which open and close with special covers, like the eyelids of the human eye. Also, the car body around the perimeter is decorated with thin strips of light from LEDs.

The concept received large wheels with low-profile tires and a roll cage with original aerodynamic elements in the form of fins.

The two-seater salon is trimmed with leather in three colors – gray, red and white. Instead of the usual steering wheel, the car has a fancy steering wheel, and all operational information is displayed on a large screen on the dashboard. The control of the operating modes of the power unit is provided by buttons on the transmission tunnel.

More details about the MG Cyberster will be announced at the presentation of the novelty at the Shanghai Auto Show, which will open on April 21.
