Vuhl launched a second model in the series.
The Mexican company Vuhl began selling the second model – the extreme speedster 05RR. The track sports car, allowed on public roads, made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016. The novelty has become the fastest and easiest model of the brand.
Version 05RR is 65 kilograms lighter than a regular Vuhl 05 – 660 kilograms. This is achieved by installing a lightweight flywheel, racing clutch and carbon wheels.
The speedster engine, a 2.3-liter Ford EcoBoost four, delivers 390 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Box – six-speed sequential production Sadev. Specific power Vuhl 05RR is 600 forces per ton, which is 63 kilograms less than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
The speedster can accelerate from zero to 96 kilometers per hour in 2.7 seconds – 0.8 seconds faster than the standard model. The maximum speed increased by 16 kilometers per hour – up to 257 kilometers per hour.
The engine mount points in the 05RR are lower, so it has a lower center of gravity. The sportcar equipment list includes a limited-slip differential on the rear axle and a suspension with settings for the track. For an additional fee 05RR can be equipped with slicks and stiffer shock absorbers.
Earlier it was reported that in the UK, prices for Vuhl 05RR will start from 89.9 thousand pounds – 30 thousand pounds more expensive than the standard Vuhl 05.
