Mercedes-Benz prepares groundbreaking concept for CES showDecember 17, 2019
The German brand will bring a novelty to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), annually held in Las Vegas, Mercedes-Benz presents an innovative concept. With the help of this prototype, the German brand is going to rethink a number of concepts, among which are environmental friendliness, safety, luxury and mobility. Innovative technological and multimedia capabilities are predicted for the new product, however, there is nothing concrete about the future debutant yet.
Experts suggest that the basis for the show car will be the electric Vision EQS sedan, shown in September 2019.
This car is destined to enter the series, becoming a “green” alternative to the traditional S-Class. Recall that during its debut, the Vision EQS concept surprised the audience with its special Digital Light headlights with rotating holographic lenses. With their help, a volumetric effect of “floating” in the optics space is created.
For the performance of Vision EQS meets a pair of electric motors, whose total power reaches 476 horsepower. Without recharging, such a sedan will travel up to 700 kilometers, and it will gain the first “hundred” in just 4.5 seconds. Up to 80% of the electric car can be recharged in just 20 minutes. Commodity EQS will not be available until 2021.
