Mercedes showed the silhouette of the new CLADecember 29, 2018
The company Mercedes-Benz has published on its official Facebook page a video teaser that gives an idea of the appearance of the next-generation CLA model. The premiere of the novelty will be held at the consumer electronics exhibition CES in Las Vegas.
As for the exterior, the video shows that the new CLA will receive LED boomerang daytime running lights. Previously appeared spy photos say that the sedan has a sloping roofline, as well as sports bumpers.
The novelty will receive information and entertainment complex MBUX, which was first shown on the fourth-generation A-Class family. A seven-inch digital dashboard is combined with a display of an infotainment complex of the same size (a 10.25-inch screen is available as an option).
The engine line will include a two-liter “turbo”, issuing 190 forces and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.
In addition, the new version will have a “charged” version – CLA 35. Like the A-Class from AMG, it will receive a two-liter unit, delivering 306 power and 400 Nm of torque. For example, the engine allows the hatchback to accelerate from place to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
