Serial electric Mercedes-Benz EQC debuts on Tuesday, September 4, in Stockholm. The car can accelerate to 100 km/h in five seconds and travel without recharging up to 500 kilometers
The company Mercedes-Benz has published a teaser, giving an idea of the serial version of the electric crossover EQC. The premiere of the car will take place on Tuesday, September 4, at a special event in Stockholm.
The electric car will outwardly resemble the concept car EQ, presented two years ago at the Paris Motor Show. At the same time, the crossover will lose the side chambers, instead of which traditional external mirrors will be installed. In addition, some changes will be made to the optics of the car, and the radiator grille.
Mercedes-Benz EQC will receive a new MBUX information and entertainment complex, debuting on the fourth-generation A-Class model with a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument panel combined with a touch screen multimedia system of the same diagonal.
Data on the power plant of a commercial vehicle are still kept secret. For example, the EQ concept car was equipped with two electric motors, totaling 300 kW, equivalent to 408 horsepower. The electric car can accelerate from place to 100 km/h in about five seconds. The units are powered by a set of accumulators for 70 kWh-h, which allow the crossover to go without recharging up to 500 kilometers.
