Mercedes S-Class new generation begins to lose camouflageOctober 27, 2019
Journalists published “spy” photos of the German executive class sedan. The novelty, which will be sold as a model year 2021 car, is known under the in-plant index W223, a presentation is expected next year.
Apparently, the official presentation of the representative sedan Mercedes-Benz S-Class is already what is called “just around the corner”. Over the past months, we have seen many test prototypes of new items on public roads.
This time, less camouflage capes are used on the body of the test sample, especially on the roof and the center line of the roof. We can also see the door handles that we first saw on the even more luxurious and expensive Maybach S-Class.
We can also see the headlights that have full LED daylight surrounding the entire headlamp. It is a pity that the engineers of the German automaker did not completely “open” the headlights, so that we can carefully consider them. As for the back of the seen prototype, there is not much interesting, except for the rear lights, which are now extended to the rear door.
Mercedes said the new S-Class will be “at the forefront of the automotive industry.” He will not receive a fully electric power plant (now there is a representative electric car EQS for this), but this will be the first production model of delirium, which will receive an autonomous control system of 3 levels (conditional autopilot).
Expect the new S-Class to be introduced sometime in 2020. And its more luxurious performance from the Maybach division, as well as the high-performance version from AMG, will be shown later. The new generation sedan will definitely not have a coupe and convertible version.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the updated Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 was caught in the video during speed tests. The company again brought its “charged” crossover to speed tests. Photospies managed to catch a future novelty on the famous track in the Nurburgring. Apparently, the debut will take place in the near future.
