Mercedes released Maybach Grand Edition collectibleJune 26, 2020
The collector’s version of the truly great Mercedes-Maybach Grand Edition sedan will be released in a limited edition of only 10 pieces.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is currently preparing for its debut, will undoubtedly raise the bar for luxury and innovation once again. Of course, the new Mercedes-Maybach S also comes with the new S-Class, which promises to be even more luxurious than before. Perhaps, as a pleasant parting with the current Maybach S and the W222 S-Class generation, Mercedes-Benz Japan has announced a version of the Grand Edition of this model, which will be limited to only 10 copies and will be available only in Japan.
Based on the Mercedes-Maybach S560 and S560 4Matic, the Grand Edition gets high-quality Nappa leather not only on the seats but also on every interior pillar, roof trim, sun visors and front center console. In total, Mercedes created 10 different options for the body color, interior and interior decoration for Maybach Cars.
Designed for a comfortable stay of four passengers, the Grand Edition comes standard with a first-class package that includes a refrigerator, a folding table and two stylish champagne glasses. A two-tone steering wheel, special rugs and pillows with Maybach emblems embroidered in them are additional exclusive touches.
Under the hood is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 463 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, which can accelerate the Grand Edition to 100 km / h in less than 5.0 seconds. The price of the Maybach luxury sedan in the exclusive version is 29 million yen.
