Mercedes GLS 600, GLS 680, S 680 will be presented from MaybachJanuary 4, 2019
While not accurate, but preliminary information from sources suggests that the company Mercedes is preparing a wide range of premium versions of their cars. This is evidenced by the registration of several trademarks with high performance indices.
Back in September 2017, Daimler registered a number of names in Germany, including G 73, GLS 73 and S 73. And the latest information hints at the expansion of the Maybach line. The United States Patent and Trademark Office has registered the names GLS 600, GLS 680 and S 680, which can be used for future Mercedes-Maybach models.
Unfortunately, the official confirmation of this information has not yet been. It is worth remembering that companies of this level can register names and simply “just in case” or in reserve. That is, the appearance of a record in the database of the patent office does not guarantee the appearance of a model on the market. It is likely that Mercedes just wants to keep these names for themselves, eliminating the possibility of using their competitors.
As you remember, the German automaker has already expressed its intention to create a Maybach SUV with an unusual Vision concept of the Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury. Therefore, we are talking about a possible expansion of the line.
