Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck made yacht on wheelsAugust 5, 2020
Tuning company Carlex Design showed a new project based on the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck.
Due to the abundance of wooden inserts, the car resembles luxury yachts. This is reflected in the name of the project – Yachting Edition. The interior of the upgraded pickup is finished in leather and Alcantara, and the body is equipped with a wooden floor.
The luxurious look is supported by the 2-color white and brown. In addition, the pickup was equipped with new multi-spoke wheels from Maybach.
At the same time, the engine compartment of the model remained unchanged. By default, the X-Class has a 2.0-liter petrol engine (166 hp) and turbo diesels 2.3 (163 and 190 hp) and 3.0 liters (258 hp).
Carlex Design is based in Poland, the second headquarters is located in South Korea, there are also representations in other countries
In addition, it was recently noted that tuners from the DK Engineering studio have developed a manual transmission for the BMW M3 (E46). It should be emphasized that the cost of a complete manual transmission kit is $ 4,500.
