Mercedes-Benz has revealed the updated coupe and C-Class cabriolet. The public premiere of cars, as well as the coupé and wagon of the same name, presented earlier, will be held at the New York Motor Show on March 28, 2018. Sales of the renewed C-Class range to Europe will begin in the summer of 2018.

Restyling C-Class is equipped with a forced 3.0-liter petrol V6. The power of the unit increased to 390 hp. With this engine up to the first 100 km / h the car can accelerate in 4.7 seconds.

In addition, the Mercedes C-Class received a new hybrid power plant. It includes a 1.5-liter engine with a payback of 184 hp. The engine works together with a 48-volt battery and an EQ Boost generator. The electrical system can add an additional 14 hp in a case where it is necessary. Up to 100 km/h the hybrid can be accelerated in 7.9 seconds.

Restyling C-Class equipped with new LED optics in the style of E-Class, which will be available in basic versions. Also, the car received another grille, sport bumpers, chrome side skirts and large air intakes.

In the interior of the updated C-Class updates are minimal. Instead of analog devices, a full 12.3-inch digital display is now available here. The steering wheel is new, and the keys for controlling the music, cruise control and bortcomputer on it are now sensory.

C-Class, like the older Mercedes models, received semi-automatic control functions. The situation on the road is monitored by cameras and radar systems. Also, the model is equipped with adaptive cruise control, an automatic parking system and the ability to remotely control a car with a smartphone.

The list of security systems included a significantly modernized emergency braking system, an alert function for the accident, as well as monitoring systems for blind areas and recognition of pedestrians and cyclists.
