Mercedes-Benz is developing a C-Class All TerrainAugust 25, 2016
Mercedes-Benz company continues to strengthen its position in the segment of the so-called “off-road” wagon. Germans recently announced T-Modell All Terrain based on the E-Class, which will debut at the Paris Motor Show, and in the near future plan to introduce “walkable” T-based version of the C-Class.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class All Terrain is based on wagon. Car clearance increased, the lower body perimeter protection off-road body kit, while the wheel arches have installed plastic dilators. And, of course, the version of All-Terrain will initially be equipped with 4Matic all-wheel drive transmission. It is possible that the wagon will also have air suspension.
The novelty will be equipped only with powerful engines ranging from 204 to 333 hp. Paired with the engine will run nine-gear automatic transmission. Presumably, the C-Class All Terrain also acquire a charged version of the Mercedes-AMG.
The car will appear in salons of the European dealers in 2018.
