Mercedes-Benz has completely declassified the appearance of the new S-ClassAugust 26, 2020
Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday, August 26, shared the latest teaser for the updated S-Class sedan, which gives an idea of the appearance of the new items of the German brand. The car will debut on September 2 this year.
The teaser is a design sketch of the car with a sloping roofline in the style of a sports coupe. The sedan will differ from the previous generation model by the presence of a different head light, as on the new CLS and E-Class, and an even larger radiator grille.
As for the stern of the flagship model, horizontal lanterns are expected here, connected by a chrome line. In addition, the German company previously published a photo of the interior of the new generation S-Class. The company noted that the updated machine will acquire about 30 physical buttons less than its predecessor, such a decrease is caused by the fact that many functions can be controlled by gestures, voice and touch.
A total of five different displays will appear in the cabin: a digital “tidy”, a projection screen, a multimedia touchscreen display and two tablets for the rear passengers. The novelty will be based on the MRA II architecture, which was developed for the largest models of the German brand.
The engine lineup of the restyled S-Class will be represented by 6-cylinder units operating on the technology of “mild hybrid”, as well as V8 engines. In addition, the model will receive a supercharged “four”. Finally, the new model will retain the V12 unit, which will be offered in conjunction with an all-wheel drive system for the first time.
In addition, more recently it was noted that one of the fastest Mercedes-Benz went on sale. It should be emphasized that this car was put up for sale by the British dealer Hexagon Classics. The car is asking for £ 149,500
