Mercedes-Benz has begun to test the new E-Class sedanNovember 12, 2018
Do not pay attention to awkward taillights – this is a temporary solution.
Just a couple of days ago, journalists published “spy” photos of the new Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain, as well as a coupe. Well, a few hours ago there were pictures of the German novelty in the sedan version.
For starters, I would like to note the taillights – they are just awful.
In their place lights are installed from a completely different car. Automakers usually do this only when a new / updated model passes the test for the first time. Note that almost the entire back of the spotted car is under the black film.
In fact, we do not expect to see any major changes other than modified rear lights. In front of the car is the updated front optics – we saw the same on the two previous prototypes of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. I must say that they are very similar to those used in the new A-Class and CLS 2019.
Black camouflage film and a false radiator grille is also on the front bumper – apparently this part of the exterior will also change a little. Note that the branded three-pointed star is missing for some reason. Behind the badge they decided to completely mask, there are no Mercedes badges in the center of the wheels.
Finally, we note that one can hardly expect the start of sales of the German novelty before the end of this decade.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Mercedes-AMG E63 from Brabus received a new design and 789 horses.
