Mercedes-Benz gives you the opportunity to add options after buying a carJanuary 24, 2019
If you forgot to put a tick in the list of additional options when ordering a car from an authorized dealer, you can order them later. This is the service that will soon be offered by the German car brand Mercedes-Benz. For now, only a limited number of options are available.
Those customers of the German automaker who ordered new versions of A-Class models (sedan / hatchback), B-Class (hatchback) and GLE (crossover) will be able to purchase updated versions of digital radio, navigation and smartphone integration systems for their cars. And it can be done directly from the screen on the dashboard.
In order to order updates for these systems, you will need to register an account in the Mercedes me system in order to be able to purchase these additional features in the Mercedes me Store, which is available for viewing in the MBUX infotainment system.
In just a few clicks, they will be able to download and use features that they forgot to order without visiting the dealership.
So far, the proposed innovation from the company Mercedes-Benz does not provide for the possibility of adding any technical additions to the car already assembled to order. Maybe later this service will be offered.
