Mercedes-AMG unveils sports strollerSeptember 29, 2020
The German sports brand, together with Hartan, presented their new stroller. The stroller will join the updated line of Avantgarde strollers. The price is unknown at the time of this writing.
Back in 2018, Mercedes worked with Hartan to develop a line of baby strollers. This appears to have been a success as Mercedes is now introducing a new stroller model under its AMG sports brand, which will join the revamped Avantgarde stroller lineup. They will be available for purchase this year and next.
The new AMG stroller has been completely redesigned from the previous model and will now be available in two different designs.
The stroller is equipped with large wheels, reliable suspension, parking brake, height-adjustable push handle, five-point harness and shoulder pads for maximum comfort. The AMG stroller is also compact, measuring 69 x 58.5 x 21 cm. The seat can be reversible.
The AMG super sports stroller is distinguished by its rims that match the original AMG cross-spoke wheels. However, Mercedes goes a step further by offering seat covers available in black or graphite that also match AMG models. There is a carrycot that matches the design of the stroller, with a Softline climate mattress, an increased lying surface and floor ventilation. An AMG brand changing bag is also available.
Two AMG style strollers join the revamped Avantgarde range. Mercedes and Hartan redesigned the series with a new chassis with colored trim, Dessin material, a magnetically buckled seat belt and a double fold-out sun visor. Like the AMG strollers, the Avantgarde line has a variety of accessories such as a sun visor, leg cuff and a diaper bag. One of the advantages of the sports stroller is the aluminum construction, which gives the stroller a weight of 8.9 kg. The seat weighs only 4.1 kg.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that a hybrid sedan Mercedes-AMG GT 73e was seen on tests. An overseas YouTube channel has shared a video showing a partially camouflaged prototype of the powerful Mercedes-AMG GT 73e. The new car was tested at the Nürburgring race track.
