Mercedes-AMG tests version E63 2020 on the NurburgringSeptember 2, 2019
Mercedes-AMG released the E63 version less than three years ago, but is already working on an update.
The model has recently been tested on the Nurburgring track. Both sedan and station wagon were tested. Due to camouflage it is very difficult to say whether the front bumper will change. Headlights and taillights get new graphics. The diffuser and rear bumper are separated by a chrome strip. Exhaust pipes remained the same. The exterior design is completed by new alloy wheels with redesigned patterns.
2020 E63 will receive the latest version of the MBUX system complete with a new touch panel, as well as an updated center console and steering wheel. Most likely, AMG will increase the power of its 4.0-liter V8 engine with two turbines, which in the current E63 and E63 S models develops power of 571 hp. and 750 Nm of torque and 612 hp and 850 Nm, respectively. Presentation of the updated E63 models should take place next year. Mercedes-AMG with the new versions of the models will compete with its competitors BMW M5 and Audi RS6 Avant.
