Mercedes-AMG introduced the new crossover GLE 53 CoupeSeptember 10, 2019
At its stand in Frankfurt, the German brand officially introduced the “charged” coupe-shaped crossover.
The line of high-performance models of the Mercedes SUV segment has replenished with another GLE coupe-like crossover, which will be available to customers in the spring of 2020. The novelty received a sporty appearance and a modified interior.
For the performance of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4Matic + Coupe meets a hybrid power plant based on a 3.0-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 435 hp. and 520 Nm of torque. As a transmission, a 9-speed automatic transmission is used, which transmits torque to all four wheels through a 4Matic + all-wheel drive system. Such a “filling” allows the cross-coupe to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds and develop a top speed of 250 km / h.
In the “base”, the model is equipped with a modified AMG Ride Control + air suspension, which promises comfort and maneuverability, and Airmatic or E-Active Body Control packages are available as an additional option. The GLE 53 2021 model year also received a sports steering wheel and powerful brakes.
