Mercedes-AMG GT4 is the working title of the project. For the serial model, it will be different. Which one, we’ll find out closer to the premiere.

Serial four-door coupe Mercedes-AMG GT4 will be presented at the international motor show in Geneva, which will open from March 6 for media representatives. This is reported by the publication Car Magazine with reference to the CEO of AMG Tobias Moers.

According to the CEO AMG Moers, he has already shown some approximate ready-made version of the coupe with four doors. They were delighted with how quickly it was possible to prepare a novelty for the premiere, only a year after the presentation of the concept.

The new car is built on the MRA platform, which underlies the new E-Class and CLS. And with the latest model, the novelty has a general concept. However, for the AMG GT4 Moers calls the competitor Porsche Panamera, to which the CLS does not reach the level of performance. After all, 435-strong CLS 53 will be the most powerful version. And CLS 63 simply will not be any more.

The engine range will consist of different versions of the 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 from 571 to 612 hp. The top hybrid variant GT4 will develop about 805 horsepower. More details about the Mercedes-AMG GT4 will become known closer to the beginning of March.
