Last week, representatives of Mercedes-AMG wished all of us Merry Driftmas, after conducting the long-awaited presentation of the “charged” hatchback in the A45 modification. The car effectively entered the controlled skid and this despite the fact that all the torque is transmitted to the front axle. I note that a little less powerful A35 was introduced just a few months ago.

Hatchback with index A45 will offer 387 hp power, that is, 6 hp more than the current version of the model. Execution A45 S get 421 horses under the hood. The latter will be more powerful than the 5-cylinder Audi RS3 / TT RS with 400 hp.
There are rumors that the company Mercedes-AMG will present the A45 / A45 S at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be held in March of this year. It is possible that the online show may happen at the end of February, then we will learn more about the already confirmed 7-speed automatic transmission with two clutches and the new 4Matic all-wheel drive system with drifting mode.
