The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division has begun work on a new project – a hypercar with internal designation BC-03. According to insiders, the new product will be the serial embodiment of the virtual Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, introduced last year.

TheSupercarBlog website reports that the idea of building a car belongs to one of the clients of the British brand. Hence the letters BC (Bespoke Commission) in the name of the project. The circulation of the model is not limited to one copy, and Woking plans to collect five BC-03. According to rumors, the price of each will be three million dollars

McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo debuted last September. According to the authors, a virtual hypercar built around the carbon chassis drives a hybrid power plant consisting of a 4.0 V8 biturbo engine and two electric motors. Total returns – 1150 horsepower and 1275 Nm of torque.

All-wheel drive McLaren is equipped with the system of active aerodynamics Integrated Active Aero. These are small openings in various parts of the body with electronically controlled valves, with which you can change the direction of air flow and distribute the pressure on the individual elements. Something similar can be seen on the Lamborghini, equipped with the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) complex.

It’s unclear how much a serial car will technically correspond to its virtual relative.
