McLaren 720S supercar made easier for track daysOctober 5, 2018
The British manufacturer has introduced a new sports package for the supercar McLaren 720S.
McLaren has introduced a new option package for the 720S supercar. It allows you to reduce the weight of the machine by 24 kilograms. This is achieved by installing lightweight components.
The basis for the 720S Track Pack was a supercar performed by Performance. Such cars can be recognized by the air intakes on the bonnet and rear fenders, carbon fiber side mirrors, and the backlight of the engine compartment. The Track Pack complements them with alloy wheels, an active carbon fiber rear spoiler from the MSO compartment and a sport exhaust.
Inside the track version of the 720S, there are bucket seats with a carbon fiber frame, a steering wheel with Alcantara and carbon petals, and six-point seat belts mounted on a titanium rod. In addition, the package includes a track telemetry system that records the lap time and the time difference across sectors.
Changes in technology did not happen. The McLaren 720S Track Pack is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 720 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. Box – seven-speed robotized SSG. The dynamic characteristics have not changed either: from a spot to one hundred kilometers per hour, the supercar accelerates in 2.9 seconds, and up to 200 in 7.8 seconds.
The price of the McLaren 720S with the Track Pack increases by £ 28,660 – up to £ 224,700
