Mazda will be busy this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, presenting the CX-30 with its North American debut. Updates for the 2020 CX-5 and CX-9 will also be presented.

The CX-30 fits between the CX-3 and CX-5 in the Mazda lineup. He drives a Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture like the last Mazda3. In Europe, buyers may receive a Skyactiv-X brand engine, but the plant is unlikely to be available in the United States. A diesel power plant is also unlikely to appear in America. According to a statement by the California Air Resources Board, the CX-30 gets a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an automatic or six-speed mechanical drive.

After its debut in Los Angeles, the 2020 CX-5 is launched by dealers in the fall of 2019. Prices for the updated crossover start at $ 26,135 versus $ 25,395 for the 2019 model. Standard features now include automatic headlights and rain-sensitive wipers.

Grand Touring features paddle shifters. The Grand Touring Reserve, with its 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, receives 250 horsepower (186 kilowatts) and 320 lb-ft (434 Newton meters) of torque – 10 lb-ft (14 Nm) more than the 2019 model of the year. This variety also now has off-road traction for extra help on rough terrain.

The company’s i-Activsense safety package is optional and includes radar cruise control with stop and go, automatic braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and automatic high beam.

Mazda does not offer so many details about the CX-9 updates. The settings currently being revealed include additional second-row captain chairs, a speakerphone door and an 9-inch infotainment screen to replace the existing 8-inch display.
