Mazda MX-5 received a special version of GinzanSeptember 11, 2020
The Japanese automaker is releasing a new special edition of the Mazda MX-5: the Ginzan.
The Ginzan modification, which roughly translates to “silver mountain”, is based on the GT-M version of the MX-5 with a soft top. In addition to standard LED lighting, climate control, heated seats and navigation, this special edition features a dark red interior with silver stitching and a gray retractable roof.
The Mazda MX-5 is finished in a new polymetallic gray. In addition, the manufacturer offers three more paint options: Eternal Blue, Jet Black and Machine Gray. The MX-5 Ginzan is available with two engines: Skyactiv-G 132 1.5, and Skyactiv-G 2.0 with 184 hp. The first variant will be available with 16-inch wheels, while the more powerful MX-5 gets a 17-inch kit.
According to the press service of the Japanese brand, the cost of the special version starts from 40,790 euros for Skyactiv-G 132 and 48,290 euros for Skyactiv-G 184. Prices, to put it mildly, rather big, but for the money you will enjoy owning a unique car, because the MX-5 Ganzan will go on sale in very limited quantities.
