Mazda introduced the supercar RX-Vision GT3 for the game Gran TurismoNovember 25, 2019
The Japanese brand showed the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 sports car, which will be available for the Gran Turismo car simulator starting next spring.
The amazing Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept was not the only car that was presented last weekend for the legendary Gran Turismo Sport car simulator. Japanese company Mazda also showed off its new concept car, called the RX-Vision GT3. The virtual racing car was briefly presented as a sketch during the FIA World Tour at Gran Turismo Sport in Monaco.
We will have to wait until next year to see the car in action – it is then that the players of the Gran Turismo Sport car simulator will have the opportunity to ride on a novelty on the PS4 gaming platform.
If this magnificent race car looks familiar, then there is every reason. It is based on the stunning RX-Vision concept, which was introduced just over four years ago at the Tokyo Motor Show. Shawkar received a stylish design and a completely new engine of the SkyActiv-R family, the technical characteristics of which were not announced. Yes, yes, yes, we are talking about a rotary engine, but this time it will be used only as an additional motor.
Little was known about the RX-Vision GT3, although we know that it will have a weight distribution of 48:52 and have a front engine layout. Ikuo Maeda, head of Mazda’s global design, who was also responsible for creating the RX-Vision and the iconic sports coupe RX-8, was responsible for the development of the car.
