Mazda CX-3 Urban Dresser Special EditionOctober 30, 2020
It goes on sale in the Japanese domestic market and is called Urban Dresser. The differences are a special interior trim and extended equipment aimed at increasing comfort.
The Urban Dresser stands out from all other CX-3s with its Grand Luxe white imitation leather seat upholstery. It is complemented by light brown Alcantara inserts on the cushions and backrests. The same faux suede inserts are on the doors and dashboard. The company claims that the interior not only looks more elegant, but is also easier to clean and the materials are durable.
The CX-3 Urban Dresser is based on the 15S trim level, and in addition to improved trim, it also features expanded equipment. Added “smart” cruise control, as well as a 360-degree view monitor, which works in conjunction with active safety systems, in particular, automatic braking. The equipment also includes glasses with improved protection against ultraviolet and infrared radiation (not specified, all or only the front hemisphere). Also, the car can be equipped with heated steering wheel and front seats.
There are no external differences in the new version, and the body colors are the same as for all other CX-3s.
Since the Urban Dresser is a special edition for style and comfort, it has no technical differences. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter Skyactive-G 1.5 petrol engine in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Mazda CX-3 Urban Dresser in Japan is priced at 2,271,500 for the front-wheel drive version and 2,501,700 yen for the full version. The company does not specify if the series is limited edition or will be offered for the Mazda CX-3 on an ongoing basis.
